My passion for art and photography began in high school when I fell in love with the darkroom. Following high school, I went on to pursue two degrees in art—learning from inspired specialists in design, photography, and education, first at SUNY New Paltz and then at Rhode Island School of Design. I’ve held positions in the art field as well as secondary education. The balance of teaching and practicing design/photography is truly ideal; I get to spend my week motivating talented students to pursue creative outlets, and my weekends with people celebrating their most joyous occasions. I truly love weddings and feel honored to be able to spend time getting to know couples and their families as they approach their big day.
 

I often hear from couples I’ve worked with that they appreciate my curatorial eye and ability to capture the “little moments.” They tell me that the images they hold most dear reflect authentic experiences of their day, with all of the in-the-moment mix of emotions—and, at times, chaos—that are part of a wedding. My strength is in finding these moments and delivering images that are creative, beautiful examples of the event as it unfolds, all while being a non-intrusive, pint-sized presence.
