All over the world there is the issue of social justice. Racism has a long history in not only the United States but across the globe. Discrimination effects many peoples jobs and workplaces, education, and their day to day lives. Some have to try harder to be looked at the same as others and valued as the same as others due to social aspects and judgments against certain races. I believe that no matter the color, size, ethnicity of others we are all the same on the inside. We as humans are just trying to get by. We all thrive for love, peace, growth, happiness and equality. In my painting I have multiple people watering a tree. The tree represents that we all as humans are living and striving for the same things. Just because we look different doesn't mean we aren't in this together. We need to be more in it together now than ever.
